Day 2, during noon break.
While eating my bentou with Kaoru, I looked up for some background information on Akishina Himeka.
"I know who she is. Isn't she the daughter of "Akishina Resort"?
As expected of my best friend, it doesn't take long for him to come up with an answer. Although Kaoru only lunches on a small salad as a guy, he's still a very dependable guy. This gluttonous Chiwa should learn from him.
"Akishina -- The resort at the foot of Haneyama?"
"Un, it's one of the old establishments since edo times. Even amongst other resorts that were established todate, this resort is still highly recommended."
"Oh? Seems like she's not your normal Jane."
"I couldn't help but imagine her greeting "Irasshaimase" to guests with the face of a grand resort's owner. Probably abit too difficult With that poker face, though she would suit traditional dresses perfectly.
"Which class is she in?"
"First Year, second class."
"Meh, isn't that just next door? Even so, we wouldn't have guessed that there's such a girl here."
Munching on his salad, Kaoru said:" Although it wouldn't be right for me to say this, she definitely doesn't give out much of a sense of presence. She seems to be very shy of strangers, furthermore she's always alone by herself. She probably doesn't have much friends with her."
"Hmm..."
Forget the assumption of her being shy, perhaps not being talkative is a better description for her. If she is so passive, she probably won't be able to experience a normal highschool life.
"What's with Akishina then?"
"Yeah, actually yesterday after class, she did talk to be abit."
"She approached you? Really?"
Kaoru's eyes widened.
"That's impressive, Keita. Even amongst students in Class 2, no one has heard of anything from her before. What did she talk about?"
"Uh, something like, uh...stuff like games."
Stuff like being told of love from past lives --- that's definitely something that I can't bring myself to talk about loud.
"Exactly what about Keita that she likes about?"
"Who knows. You'd better ask her yourself."
"Hey, Keita." Kaoru lowered his voice while blishing. "Maybe I'm just being busybody, but you'd better watch out and not get her attracted to you, okay?"
"W-what are you talking about?"
"With just Natsukawa and Chiwawa, we already have a big scale war going on here, if we add another person into this pool...wouldn't it be what we call a "Niceboat"?
"....ha, haha."
I was about to say "How could that possibly be?", and then laugh it off, however I ended up with a cold laugh.
BECAUSE IT'S TOO LATE!
"What happened, Keita? You don't look too well."
"a-ah, maybe I'm just tired from all the studying for exams.."
Why am I being liked by such a shy girl?
All those commotion at the bus stop was definitely mind-boggling.
After doing all I can to get the princess off me for her to return home, I was subjected to some of the toughest interrogation ever by both Masuzu and Chiwa. Although I explained to them that I was "being mistaken as a boyfriend of her past life", both of them are still unable to believe me even one bit.
